I spoke with the owner of Andrews Custom Leather this morning, and it was just a real pleasure doing business with him. He is very knowledgeable about Smith & Wesson’s, and has been making holsters for a couple of decades now. I ordered the Macdaniel II Cross Draw, which is actually a convertible IWB holster that can be worn either on the hip or for cross draw, depending on where one mounts the belt loop. The holster looks to sit down nice and low, and yet allow for a good draw. Also has a reinforced “torque plate” to help pull the pistol butt against the body. I hope to have my new holster in 4 or 5 weeks, maybe in time for Christmas. We all know there’s very few options out there for the 3913LS/NL and 4040PD, so if you’re interested in one, you should check out the video on how this one is made here. I will post pics when I get the holster
