Probably because when they tell their non-enthusiast friends what they are excited about all they hear is "I bought this cool BLAH BLAH BLAH and it will be hear on Saturday." Coming here and telling us because we might offer some excitement in return.

Got the goods yesterday.
I got the green fiber optic installed today and it really pops!
I have not found the sweet spot for the holster to ride yet, but have found where it is very uncomfortable!

I sent back my Vedder holster for that same gun. The holster was excellent, but I just can't do IWB.

Vedder says they are working on on OWB for this gun, but don't have a date as yet.

I returned the Vedder IWB holster as I could not find a sweet spot and it always irritated my hip.
Today I received a Cook's OWB for the M&P 2.0, 3.6". Fit is fine, and pistol stays in holster tightly. But there is no adjustable tension screw; don't like that.
Finish is good, but the barrel sticks out of the holster about 3/8" and I'm not happy about that; but he did leave the end open as I requested.
This is a winged holster and it fits the body very well, just wearing it around the house this evening. I will wear it for a few days to see how I like it.

Congratulations on your new gear! I also have the obligatory box of holsters that won't fit anything.

I purchased a used CYA inside the waistband holster from someone on this forum for my Shield. It works better than the others that I tried. They have a web site.
