Oversize Bolt Knob

Anyone know where I can get and oversize bolt knob for my Remington 700 Sendero in stainless? Would like it to be 1.6 inches long by .980 at the wide end. Thanks.

Did you check Brownelle's? Question; Are you prepared for "cut and weld"?

Ivan-yes I did. Everyone has only coated aluminum. I sent the bolt to a guy a year ago and he cut and tapped it 5/16 x 24, and put one on, but it's a little too small. Doesn't really match the bolt that well either.

Not to smart off but, "When you want a job done right, do it yourself." So my second suggestion is go to a machine shop, and have them make one. I'm sure they are all over Pittsburg, they are in Columbus, Ohio; and in small towns everywhere. It doesn't have to have true mechanical drawings, but a sketch with the dimensions on it (don't forget the thread pitch also). I've had local shops make and modify gun stuff for 40 years. It always helps if you provide the metal you want it made from too.

Yes the aluminum ones are $ 14. These are "gun people" and make super quality products.

google for stainless steel produced one on ebay for $ 25 that appears to have your sendro finish available

Elgordo2 from the forum below did one for my CZ rifle. Very pleased, quality work. PM him via the forum. I'm fairly sure he did some 700 work. Not sure he's still doing them or not.
