OWB holster for 4-inch Model 19

I tried once before to get some ideas for a good OWB holster for my Model 19 4-inch barrel. I fire this gun so much better than I do my 642 or 640 but just assumed it was too large to carry concealed in an OWB holster. But after reading about folks carrying full size 1911's or other larger guns, maybe I should not have assumed that I can't readily use my Model 19. Its obviously too large for pocket carry, and I have not been able to carry any gun IWB comfortably. I've tried looking on the internet for ideas for a good OWB holster but haven't found anything that says it is made for this particular type gun. Suggestions please? Thanks.

You were smart to come here instead of the internet. Check out Lobo Gun Leather - Home Ray is a member on this forum and makes a real nice OWB that many of us here swear by. He's a custom maker so you can get it with a thumb break, two slots instead of three, and you can pick your cant.

I made this matching belt and holster for both concealed and open carry of a 4" m66.

For a concealed carry only holster, I prefer pancake style.

Whatever you decide on make sure you have a sturdy belt to go with it.

Ed's holsters cost about $38 regardless of color or finish. Delivery time is about 1 week. Specify if you want a covered or exposed trigger.
Ed has been doing leather work for at least 30 years. He uses very heavy leather that retains its shape. Ed is a perfectionist and nothing will leave his shop unless it's exactly right.
I prefer mahogany basketweave. Here's one he did for my Glock 23.
