I have been carrying my M&P 9c iwb for 5 months now and was wanting to give owb carry a try. Any suggestions on a decent leather owb holster that will hold my gun high and tight with a slight forward cant for concealed carry?

Lots of good options out there but here are a couple that I have used personally on my 1911s.

Milt Sparks Axiom - Great holster, easy on and off, but you'll be waiting about 20 weeks. My current carry holster for my Commander 1911.

Mernickle Holsters - Their PS6 holster is a high rise type holster that is excellent for conceal carry. I've used it with a Gov't and Commander 1911. Very comfortable and secure.

Hume H721 OT. I have several for K, L, and N frame, Good holsters and good prices. Auto line should be the same.

For the price, this is hard to beat! I use one for a Glock and have been very satisfied with it.

they may have a leather holster. but bianchi ACCU-MOLD holds close to the body, cant angle good. it is molded to your weapon. check midwayusa they had them. i have one probably 15 yrs., still like new, it was for a revolver.

Brommeland Makes a great holster that I used for OWB carry of a FS 1911.

My Milt Sparks IWB VMIIs are my absolute favorites, to the point that I'd trust their OWB holsters as well.

Most of my herd rides in either Milt Sparks or Kramer's .....might work for you as well.

I absolutely love my Mitch Rosen- I keep it in the bag it came in when I'm not wearing it, just to smell that leather when I take it out. Grew up around horses, that leather smell is special.

Gould & Goodrich 3 slot pancake. B803 series. I have purchased two from Optics Planet, one for a revolver the other for a 3rd gen. $53.99 shipped. The full cat. no. for the 9C is B803-MPC.

I just remembered Crossbreed now offers an OWB, just like the Supertuck but outside- nice-lookin' belt slide kinda holster, and I think it's on the $55 range.
