Next step, puck and 1 ring.

After the last go round, I decided I'd go in 1 minute increments.
Again, 100g of Dr. Carvers finest.
Lo! 1 minute at approximately 950 rpm was just right!
I got a nice spreadable paste with nut grains just big enough to crunch and get caught in the teeth. You could fold in broken peanut chunks for a chunkier texture.

After scraping out the bowl, I'd lost about 19g of total weight, unacceptable loss.

So, with this behind me, I must say I'm a little bit disappointed.
I guess I was expecting a much faster pulverizing rate.

I wonder if the scientists at CERN would have any interest in smashing peanuts together. Perhaps a new element could be added to the periodic table. Peanutium? Legumium?

Oh, yes. Clean up was a *****.

You Sir have too much time on your hands. Don't ya have a hobby?

Boatme. I sort of do the same, but I don't have one of the fancy gizmo's you have, I just have a blender...But it works pretty good...I make my peanut butter for my dog...She has diabetes, so she can't have any store bought peanut butter, because of the sugar in it.

As for me, I too have those little itty bitty pieces, which I can eat vs the Super Chunky store bought...The store bought creamy...nah..there are just too much additives and it just don't taste like peanuts any more.

As far as clean up goes, I don't have a problem, cause I get to lick the bowl.:D

I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to say this, and you have provided it.

"I bet boatme99's sorry."

Eau contraire, Mon Freier!
I would love to be there when the days assay results come in. I'm off for four days. :D

Zinc 2.9%
Galena. 0.13%
Iron. 0.007%
Unknown 0.0002%, but it smells kind of like peanuts. "My god, man! We've struck peanut butter! Find that vein!"

Maybe you'll get lucky and strike peanut oil.

And, apropos of your tortured French, I'm sorry, and you can bet on that!
