U.S. Navy SEAL Adam Brown

U.S. Navy SEAL Adam Brown (SOC) lost his life serving our country in the mountains of Afghanistan. He placed himself in the line of fire in order to protect the other members of his unit.

Adam Brown’s life story is that of a true American hero—a husband, a father, a man of unyielding courage and faith. It’s a story meant to be shared, today, on the anniversary of his passing, and every day.

Adam Brown is from here in Hot Springs, Arkansas. There is a statue/memorial to him downtown, Fearless Rock, the only underwater memorial is dedicated to him, and several local businesses have tributes to him.

Brown was killed in action March 17, 2010, in Komar Province, Afghanistan, when his special-operations team was trapped by heavy enemy fire. Brown charged the enemy position, drawing fire away from other members of his team. A best-selling book based on his life, "Fearless," has been published, and a film is in the works.
