For sale/cash only: hard-to-find Smith & Wesson Performance Center PC-13 K-frame, round butt, .357 Magnum revolver, serial # HCP20xx

Description and Accessories: The PC-13 was a Model 13 with a 3" bull barrel (as issued by the FBI at that time) and a number of upgrades and modifications. S&W did a limited run of 400 of these in 1995. The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas refers to it as "A very serious carry revolver." The revolver comes with the original box, papers (less warranty card) and a Kramer horsehide holster. The carry-friendly differences between the PC-13 and the standard M13 are listed below. The action was tuned to old-school standards by the Performance Center and you will probably never find a smoother DA trigger stroke on a S&W K-frame. This gun was from the first of two parts of the series and has the ports on the barrel rather than on/at the front sight rib.

  • bobbed hammer (with old-style fixed firing pin)
  • double-action-only lockwork
  • chamfered charge holes
  • beveled cylinder
  • trigger overtravel stop
  • Eagle "Secret Service" boot grips
  • quad Mag-Na-Porting
  • beveled cylinder release for speedloader clearance
  • shrouded ejector rod
  • matte blue finish
This revolver is in ~97-99% condition, with essentially no visible wear other than on the top edges of the frame and barrel rib and a light turn ring on the cylinder. I've tried to show these in the pictures but what mostly shows up is reflections rather than wear. If you look at the pictures of the extractor star and recoil shield you will see that this revolver has been used very, very little.

Price/Selling Terms/Location: $1000 for gun and holster + $40 FedEx shipping from MA. USPS money order only, no PayPal, no trades. For state law reasons the outbound transfer will be made from a MA-licensed dealer. As we all know, everything that involves a dealer these days takes some time, so please be aware that the dealer's shipping turnaround will not be within my control. :( For the same reason, although not required, dealer turnaround time will probably be faster if you can include an ink-signed FFL copy with payment rather than using fax or online FFL verification.

Contact Information: Best comms by email rather than by forum email or PM. "I'll take it" not required.
