Hello- I have a Performance Center M&P Shield 9 Crimson Trace. I would like to upgrade the optic to a Holosun 507K X2 2MOA green dot sight. The Holosun has a “Shield RMS” footprint. From everything I’ve read, the 507K should bolt right up to my PC M&P Shield 9 CT.

Does anyone have any experience with this Optics swap, and can confirm compatibility?

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated-

Shield RMSc footprint has 4 lugs, two front, two rear.
The 507K has two, up front towards the barrel.

I believe older Shield Models had true RMSc footprint milled.
I have a few month old Shield Plus, it is 507K.
Easy way… when you pop off the optic, see if it has rear lugs.

And if it does, no worries. Plenty of plates out there to use front and rear lugs under, two front lugs up top..
I hope that makes as much sense as it did in my head :)

If your Shield has the RMSc cut with the 4 lugs that dajogejr mentioned, you'll need to do one of a few things:

-Get an RMSc to Holosun K adapter plate. EPS Carry include an adapter plate, I don't know if Holosun has started including them with 507Ks (my early 507K green didn't include one). The DPP brand plate is pretty reasonably priced.
-Break out the Dremel and/or files to GONSMIFF the back posts off and slightly shorten the front posts.
-Send your slide to a slide milling company to modify the cut to Holosun K. I sent my Shield Plus slide to Nameless Armament partly for this, and partly because my factory optics cut was one that of the cuts that had a negative cant/forward slope that made zeroing an EPS Carry impossible.
