Mentioned in another thread, picked up a 9mm PC Shield, had briefly considered a G43, but as I have multiple M&P's all with various Apex goodies and a bunch of M&P specific tools, etc. I just decided to stay with what I know.
Put 200 round through it today, no issues. It does seem to prefer heavier ammo, which I had read about ported barrels, but wasn't sure with such a short one it would matter.
So a PC-S owners upgrading any parts to Apex? I have several M&P's with various kits - Duty/Carry, AEK, Competition, etc, but really hadn't planned on changing anything on the PC except possibly the trigger itself.
After a few hundred rounds I think for sure I will upgrade the trigger to an Apex - it's not as bad as the old M&P triggers, but still does seem to have more creep before starting to engage the sear, almost like stacking a revolver even. I had though the PC sear would alleviate this but I guess not.
Anyway, undecided on just doing the trigger or going ahead with the full Duty/Carry, so was wondering what others had done and their results...
