Let me start by saying my favorite ammo company for quite awhile has been Target Sports. No nonsense, great prices and they overbox the ammo so it looks like any other UPS package.
Since I am confined to the house and will croak without my 02 hose in 10 minutes I got plenty of time to sit and get PO'd (about all I can do).
Every morning I check to see anything "new" but there ain't. The thing cranking me up is they still have the "pre-panic" listings on the out of stock items: Federal 115 gr 9mm $169 to your door, same for Blazer Brass and Remington. I bought several K at those prices but now I look and the lowest price is $.90/rd, only the "good stuff" is available. I know they used to have good prices but rubbing it in now just winds my crank. Stay tuned for more rants until I get a normal life back. Joe

I just ran into an old (July 2018) confirmation email from Brownells for (2) bricks of CCI Std. Velocity @ $24.99 per 500. Total $49.98. Free shipping. Must have been a sale.

*sigh*

It's as cruel as the old ads of buckets of garands, carbines, and 1911s at the hardware store for $10 or whatever. When this kicked off, I doubted that I'd be able to buy $0.14/rd 9mm again, but figured it would stabilize somewhere near the old levels eventually, maybe $0.20/rd, now with most steel out of the picture soon I'll be thrilled if I can buy below $0.35/rd in the future. Slowly accepting that hobby target shooting is going to be much more of an every now and then thing for me. Oh well, fishing and hunting have been more fun anyways.

With the coming Russian Ammo Ban, I've just placed an order for steel cased, Tula made 7.62x39mm ammo. The place says they have it, so I'm ordering a bunch. I figure I'll then have enough for my wants and maybe some to pass along in the will!
