Anyone had this done?

Kinda a speckled looking covering that's supposed to be super strong.

My screened in patio is about as smooth as a wash board, and rough as a cob. Also has a couple hairline cracks. Near impossible to clean without using a power washer.

Called a local company that does the Penntek stuff, and their coming out Thursday to grind the floor down and apply the stuff.

If anyone has this stuff, is it easy to walk on barefoot? I never wear shoes out there. Easy to clean?

I could buy a nice revolver for what it's costing.

If they prep it right it will work. If not, it will be flaking off in time.
It was done to our bays at the fire station. Looks fantastic but can be slippery if wet.
When I was growing up the fix was AstroTurf. It covered a multitude of sins and came in different colors!

I thought about AstroTurf or outdoor carpet, but it would be too hard to keep clean during pollen season.

I painted it with light gray epoxy paint right before i had it screened in. I guess the pollen gets on the screen, then if we get a mass rain the floor is yellow.

They showed up yesterday and went over the floor with a massive grinder, ground out the cracks and put the base coating down and sprinkled the stuff down that I picked out.

Came back this morning and scrapped it smooth, and applied the clear coat epoxy.

Can't wait for the 24 hours to be up so I can use it. I'm about as happy as buying a new gun. I'd love to have my garage floor done, but the thought of moving everything out of the garage for the work to be done just aint gonna happen.

Looks very nice and non slippery. You'll find out over time how durable it is. In Florida 35 yr "architectural" shingles need replaced in 15. Joe

It has a lifetime warranty, so I'm not too worried about it.

My original roof lasted 10 years...builders grade stuff. Had a tornado touch down about a mile from me a few years ago. Insurance company wanted to check my roof. Found 10 or 12 shingles with bruises from hail. He tried to lift them up to replace them, and they were so brittle they fell apart. Got a new roof for my $500 deductible.

I'd like to have my garage floor done too, but I would have to get a POD to store everything in to have it done.

My daughters friend has a 3 car garage, he rented a POD while his floor was being done.

I don't have any junk in my garage the truck and bike takes up a lot of it. It's the shelves, work bench and tool boxes that would be a pain.
