Member 44 magget came to my attention from reading the forum and I contacted him a while back about making some grips for me. I got on the list and waited patiently until it was my turn and we initiated my commission. 2 pair of N frame square butt in a shortened Roper style and 2 pair of K frame round butt, one with Roper style checkering and the other with Spegel-styled speed loader scalloping and checkering that is appropriate. The results are phenomenal and I'm super happy with how these came out.

He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and all communication with him was consistent and clear with the work being done and the time frames it would done in. It simply doesn't get any better on the human side.

As for the grips? I think they came out great and they are all exactly what I wanted. Here are some photos of what he did for me.

First the N frame grips.

Next are the round butt K frame grips with the Spegel-style speed loader scalloping. He did the scallop on both sides which isn't necessary but I actually like the symmetry of. Shown on a 2.5" Model 10-8. These extend below the butt by about a quarter inch which is perfect for my hand.

Finally the K frame round butt Roper style grips. The grain and marbling on the English walnut is so nice I figured I'd put these on the nicest K frame I own which is a new in box without even a turn line Model 19-2 three inch.

He made a pair of N frame presentation grips for me. They are stunning and as stated he is a pleasure to work with. I recommend him highly

Looks like Curt did you some remarkable work, as usual. He's continues to impress.
