I own a 3.1” and a 4” performance center shield plus and they shoot great. I then purchased the new shield plus carry comp performance center and had immediate problems. The trigger felt like 15 - 20lbs. and didn’t return after firing. Upon further inspection the spring that connects to the trigger through the roll pin was never connected. I fixed this myself but I can’t get my head around the fact a so called performance center gun goes through all the steps and leaves the factory in an improperly assembled condition. I might be able to understand something minor, but a problem that renders the gun useless right out of the box is 100% unacceptable. What are we paying for with the extra cost of a performance center?
