Anyone know where I can buy a Performance Center sear? S&W does not sell them, and I really don't want to spend $120 + shipping and wait two months for them to do the work when I can do it myself in 10 minutes. Thanks.

Buy the hard sear from Apex for $45. Same geometry and fully machined.

It is not. Here are pictures for comparison. The PC sear is the bottom one in the pic with three. Look at the engagement surfaces. The PC sear has a positive angle, while the Apex has a rounded negative angle. Instead of breaking, the striker rolls off the Apex. I want a crisp break like my PC 10mm has.

I found a PC sear on eBay. It arrived today and I installed it. The trigger is much crisper and about a half pound lighter. Reset does not appear to have changed. Overall it is a very nice trigger now. It is the equal of my PC 10mm. The eBay vendor was Freestone Armory if anyone is interested. My order arrived quickly and exactly as described.

Actually the Apex looks like the bottom sear.

The sear at the bottom of the three looks like the Apex picture
