Barb,
Since the passengers are likely better behaved that the 2 legged ones as well as of a higher IQ than the 2 leggers, can I fly with the hounds instead of with the people?

Tell me your kidding? That's over the top!

Hey, I'd rather ride in one of them boxes than take most commercial flights that I've taken recently!

One of the last flights I can think of was from Houston to San Juan,PR in the middle seat, between two fat ladies, and never got out of the seat during the flight...because I couldn't!

Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!

I saw the Pet Airlines founder on TV. It's a pretty neat program, but currently only has a limited number of routes.

Depending on the situation, I would use the service... even if it were pricey.

We moved to France and had to ship our whippet in the cargo hold. She made it there and home four years later. My wife and I were nervous wrecks both times. The dog survived but was very stressed by the ordeal.

It really is a hit or miss process with a regular airline... and is dramatically affected to extremes of hot and cold weather.

BTW, on our trip over... I barely got the dog and crate off the moving baggage carousel before the French Gendarmes literally "blew up" an unclaimed piece of baggage on the carousel.

It's pretty cool but my cat would eat all the food before take off and my dog would want to be the pilot. (they're spoiled, no clue how it happened

You had me worried for a minute Barb. When I saw your title "pet airways" I thought your dog was choking and you were looking for help with mouth to mouth resuscitation.
