Manning broke Brett Favre's all-time NFL record of 508 career touchdown passes in the first half of tonight's game. The game is only half over and the season isn't yet halfway over. The quarterbacks still active are way behind him. Looks as if he'll have the crown for a long time.

Congratulations to one hell of a player and apparently a fine man as well.

Well, I happen to know the Manning family personally. Back around 35-36 years ago, I was working for a refrigeration company and went on a service call to the Manning house in New Orleans. Olivia told me personally that the air conditioner unit was around back and then when we were finished she said thank you! I think that was either Payton or Cooper running around in the diaper. Man-I've been places :D

I think he's better at selling pizza but not much.:)

I actually have to change this when it comes on...makes me cringe!

What happened, this thread started off with Manning sitting in a tub.

Caj, gotta throw a flag on this one. I've met GHW Bush, Colin Powell, Gen. Schwartzkopf, and ambassadors much more recently than 35 years ago. I wouldn't say I know them personnally.

While I loved seeing Peyton Manning and the Colts lose to the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, I have to admit he one of the greatest players of all time. He seems to define the term "professional athlete". Gives me great results on my fantasy team as well. With the way he plays, he may have a longer career than others. Aikman got hurt too much and Favre had ups and downs, but Manning still seems to have it.
