Its a new photo I've not seen before. Kind of interesting to me because I like K22s. He's got it labeled wrong as a K22 outdoorsman, but even if you're just half blind, you can see the step in the hammer and the micro sight. So its an engraved and nickeled masterpiece. I've never seen a K22-2nd in nickel, and I pretty much assume there were none of them made by the factory. No, I have no evidence of that. But remember all after market engraved guns are by definition refinished. It doesn't hurt the value of the shown gun.

I kind of guess there's a way to just go straight to the guy's photo album, but I don't know what it is. Regardless, it needs a thread or something. Probably to expensive for me and my SS. And I'm afraid to send one of my 2nds out for hammering on.

That gun is so beautiful, it almost hurts my eyes to look at it.

We don't know much about the gun. Like who owns it now, what the circumstances are of becoming shiny. When the photos were posted and so on. Any 2nd model is worth a thread. This one is just great. I even wonder what the serial number is.... We might have a huge percentage of that production.

The photo falls apart when I try to enlarge the butt for the serial number. Guess its not all that important. Clearly somebody saw it first, and the comment made was last July.

This gun was a custom project by a S&WCA member. John is an extremely talented engraver. Check out his website and his Facebook page for other examples of his incredible work.

I'm very happy to add my compliments to John's work.

If you are interested in engraving or seeing it done John has been in attendance during the last two Symposiums I attended, in addition to being very talented he's also a nice guy! Cannot attest to his attendance this year, if he does you will be impressed!
