So last weekend I went to the Phoenix gun show at the state fair center.
Pretty big show. A couple of observations:
-While busy Sat morning, I was surprised at how slow it was during the day.
-Prices for the same items varied WILDLY to say the least. I was looking for a Colt Rail Gun, black. I found a few in various finishes including a couple in black. Prices ranged from original sticker up to $1400+!! Wow! Over four hundred bucks over retail. Yikes. I noticed this with other things too. It really pays $$ to walk the entire show, even though it may take all dang day.
-What a great place to buy once-shot brass!
-As always there were lots of interesting folks and a lot of fun.
-I did not like the neighborhood the show was located in. A pretty seedy part of town, with lots of mopes walking around like zombies on the street outside the gate. I made a last-second, as-the-show-was-closing purchase and was one of the last people to head to the parking lot, and boy, that was a long and lonely walk to the car! Condition yellow....
