And I don't seem to have any trouble concealing it...

The holster is a DeSantis Speed Scabbard that I found in the LGS's junk bin for $15. It looks near new, however felt a little dry, so wiped it down with a little bit of leather conditioner. My 28-2 fits like a glove in it, and the whole thing easily conceals beneath a button down shirt. Then again, I am a fairly big guy...

Seriously though, I have been carrying a Model 59 that I picked up recently, and by comparison, the 28 is much easier to conceal, and much more comfortable on my hip than the 59. I also used to carry around a 4" Model 19 (traded it for the 28) from time to time, and I don't remember it feeling quite this comfortable. The same is also true of the Glock 17, M&P 9 Pro, Springfield XD9, Beretta 92 and Stoeger Cougar as well (I really like big guns). None ever felt this comfortable when carried.

Also, last week, while pawing through the same junk bin, I pulled out a Bucheimer Guardian Holster that appears to be 50s vintage, but I cannot find any info on the model code stamped on the back in any of the vintage catalogs posted around the net, so it's intended fit is unknown. The guys at the sales counter did however allow me to test fit it with a K-Frame revolver from the range rental desk, and fit fairly well, so that is what I'm guessing the holster is fit for. The only problem is, now that I have invested a whole $5 into the holster, I need a 4" K-Frame revolver to put in it. I'm thinking maybe a Model 10...
