This is a 10-10 with 3" barrel and full lug. It is the 1st one I have ever seen. So I had to have it. No box or papers, I would rate it at 98%. What do you think? Did I do well?

Interesting, the first one I've seen...kind of like the barrel on a 65 Ladysmith. It may be one of a special run and worth a letter.

That's what I'm thinking too, barrel profile is different. You might do a forum search on 3 inch Mod 10's to see if you can spot another.
Good looking revolver.

Nice score on a unique version of the M10. I think the full barrel shroud was for a Brazilian contract.

I sure like the look of that one. Great find! If you letter it please let us hear the results.

Smith need to bring somthing like that back out for us revolver lovers!!
That baby is sweet!

Thats a beautiful model 10! Congrats! The 3" K-frame was really the pinnacle of combat revolvers, for me.

I'd pine for the manufacturer to make them again, but a quick glance at their "classics" tells me they would fall way short of their initial product.

Your 3" model 10 is a classic example of everything you need in a revolver and nothing you don't.

Enjoy it! :) Regards 18DAI.

Congratulations on the purchase of that really great looking Model 10 with 3 inch barrel.

That is a great gun! I have never seen one like that. Congrats on a lucky find.

You have a brazilian contract overrun model 10-10 made in late 1993.

They are indeed very scarce with no definite numbers known.

I just sold my new in box brazilian to fuel my fever for 45 caliber n frames.

Congrats in a fine piece. You might consider putting this one away,
or selling it and buying 3 regular 3 in. model 10s to play with.

Nice snag, right place obviously right time. Great lookin collector. As an earlier poster commented"Smith needs to build a run of a couple of thousand of these!

The French Presidential bodyguards also had these, but I think in .357.
