Picked up my 19-3 today!

Picked up my 19-3 today!
I put this baby on layaway several weeks ago and finally brought her home today. Probably one of the tightest older revolvers I have found. Dates to 1976 according to THE Book. Picking up my 686 no dash Friday and hope to take them both to the range Sunday. Sorry for the bad pics.

Always nice to get a 19. I have both blue and nickel in 2 1/2 inch, and a blue in 4 inch, all mint! Still looking for a nickel 4 in. to round out my collection. Am waiting on delivery of a pristine 586 4-inch due tomorrow.

You will love that gun. I shoot some medium load 158 gr swc, but mostly .38 Special 125 or 158 with a light load of Bullseye.

19s have a tendency to reproduce.

The 2 1//2" is the M19 I am after. Not yet found one.

picked up the pre 27 that we spoke of...put on a coat of renaissance wax and whoa.....it sparkles!

Kenny we certainly need to do lunch some day. I am sure I could learn a lot and get some good info from you. I will give the renaissance wax a search. I would like to see if I could get this glimmer back into this M19.

Nice 19-3 you've acquired. You should like it. I have two 19-3's a 4" and a 6". I like both. The 19 is the right size for carrying.

scott...sounds great...just let me know a good time...any number of places carry the wax...i found it on ebay by simply entering a search for renaissance wax...
