Lew Horton 29-3 Classic Hunter. Not crazy rare but also not your typical 29. Needs a good cleaning, hoping some of the blueing in front of the cylinder on the frame buffs up, but even if it don’t this is gonna be a shooter.

Very nice, and congratulations on a great acquisition. Your third S&W already...seems like you caught the bug for which there is no cure! LOL! That's a pretty cool setup, and I like the adjustable front sight and the wood stocks. As far as the front of the cylinder, it's probably just fouling and should clean up nicely after you let some Hoppe's No. 9 or good quality CLP soak on it for a while and hit it with a brush. Good luck, and enjoy!

That is a Dandy! I had a similar one with 8 3/8 bbl. It had the 4 position front sight also. Used for Pistol Silhouette competition. It was a Shooter! For some unknown reason, I sold it.... Four front sight settings, allen key adjustable. Could set each for zero at the four distances. All in Meters; 50, Chicken target. 100, Pig target. 150, Turkey target. 200, Ram target. Lots of fun shooting. Google Silhouette and you will see videos of all. Shot with airgun, .22 rifl, centerfire pistol, Highpower rifle, and, Blackpowder Rifle too.

Awesome !

I realy Like the wood grips .

Had one of those, back in the 90's. Shot some Metallic Silhouette with it, and it doubled as a Bowling Pin match gun. Had enough weight it could run across the bowling pin table fast with a mid range load.
