Get a copy of the Firearms Engraver's Guild member directory and check out their work. It is available for a nominal charge on the FEGA website. You get what you pay for when it comes to engraving, I would reccomend engraving by a guild member. I have used the services of Jim Blair of Glenrock, Wyoming and can reccomend him without reservation. There are many book on the subject of engraving, check one out at the library. Also Gun Digest for many years has had a secton devoted to gun engraving, it has a good selection of samples of engraving. Forum member Wayne D'Angelo is an engraver you certainly want to check out too.
