Anyone that has the standard 15-22 swapped out their pistol grip? Which do you recommend? I was thinking of switching mine out for something with a bit more "grip". Maybe something that has some rubber content. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I absolutely love the MOE grip with the secret compartment where I can stash a few doobies.

How well does the tan Hogue match the FDE from Magpul? I only ask because I had thought about adding a few Magpul items as well. Maybe an AFG2 and some ladder rail covers for sure.

It's not an exact match, but close enough that I don't care. Mine is a shooting rifle, not a display rifle. :)

I have the Tapco Intrafuse in FDE and I really like it. It fits perfectly, much better than the Magpul. It's nice and thin at the top and enlarges as it goes down. Very comfortable.

Thanks. Looks nice. May I ask which barrel shroud that is? I have that on the list as well. :D

I have the Hogue...with the cap on the bottom. It costs extra, but worth it!

I have used all the others and for me the best feeling grips are the Ergos from Falcon industries. I have 4 currently spread onto 3 rifles with an overmolded one with a palm shelf for use in precision matches. Some of my rifles came with Hogues and I took all those off and put them on some Tac shotguns I have. I also prefer the Ergo F93 Pro stock because it leaves the cheek piece up front when expanding the stock and it is close to $70 cheaper than the MOE that is similar. Plus for competition it has a stock tab that locks the stock in position with no slop.

I put the Magpul MOE plus (+) FDE on my 15-22.

Its rubber overmolded, feels good and has a storage compartment in the base.

Rubber overmold...
Needs to match Magpul FDE...
The Magpul MOE+ in FDE is the answer you're looking for.

+1 on the MOE+ for me as well. I have 2 of them. If I weren't using this, the others that I would try would be:

Bravo Company's new Gunfighter grip:
BCMGUNFIGHTER™ Pistol Grip for AR-15, M16, M4

Larue's A-PEG grip:
LaRue Tactical A-PEG Grip | LaRue Tactical

Or FAB Defense's new rubbery grips (rumors of a 2-3 week wait time on these):
Pistol grips FAB Defense (Defence) Weapon Accessories

Thanks a lot for all of the ideas and suggestions guys. I will update with pics once I make a decision and get it all installed. Thanks again.

ive tried stock, hogue, moe+ and miad. currently i run the miad with the larger backstrap because i have larger hands.

on a side note, ive got the hogue still that i need to post up for sale.

2 Hogues here and another 15-22 on the way is going to stay stock as it is a real tree camo model. I just happened to be replacing the Hogues on a couple of other ARs and thought it would be nice if both the 15-22s I had at the time had the same grip. The Hogue is OK but not my favorite AR pistol grip.
