I am trying to raise an AR15 fund, and to do so I am willing to part with items that I don't really use.
In this case, I have a Remington Super Slug deer barrel combo, with a 23" rifled barrel, cantilevered mount for a scope, and currently with a Nikon Slughunter BDC200 3-9 x40mm scope mounted with Leupold rings. The barrel is for 870 Wingmaster, Special Purpose, and Express models.
The barrel originally came with a Remington branded 2-7 x32mm scope mounted as a combo kit, UPC code 47700 24553. I removed the Remington scope and mounted a far-better Nikon. The barrel has a 3" chamber, and a fully rifled bore for shooting SABOT SLUGS, not rifled slugs. I shot the combo to adjust the scope. The combo on my 870 Wingmaster cut a 3/4" group at 50 yards and a 1.5" group at 100 yards. The performance of the slugs seems to deteriorate significantly after 150 yards or so in terms of repeatable point of impact. Still, at 100 yards it is almost as good as a rifle. Very handy in states where hunting deer with a rifle is not allowed.
The original combo (with Remington scope) currently sells for $270 on Cabellas. The scope sells for $350 on Amazon.com. Here is the URL:

Since I am unlikely to deer hunt again , I'd like to liquidate this stuff and get something I will get more use from. I will include all the original packaging and papers for both scope and barrel combo as well as rings.
I could sell the original combo with Remington scope for $230 shipped in the USA, or the combo as it is now (with Leupold rings and Nikon scope) for $500 shipped. Barrel, scope, and rings are all in as-new condition, with a total of 10 slugs fired. No trades, please. Unless it involves an AR15.
