Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top. Honeyburst color. Serial # I 01010355. Excellent condition. Made in Korea 2001. Original truss rod cover reads "Gibson". Body is mahogany back with flame maple top. Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. Current Epiphone Les Pauls are made in China. Many consider the prior Korean version to be a superior instrument. This guitar is approximately 14 years old but other than the tiniest of handling marks (get out the magnifying glass) it presents as brand new. Frets are in excellent condition.
Has major upgrades....hard to improve on this one. Complete "JonesyBlues" wiring set-up...I had one of Jonesy's pre-wired "50's Gibson Les Paul" wiring harnesses, pre-wired Switchcraft toggle switch, pre-wired Switchcraft jack installed. All of the electrical upgrades, including the new 50s wiring harness and Manlius Landmark PAF pickup installation were professionally performed by a factory-authorized guitar electronics technician.
Bone nut professionally installed and a complete set up by one of the best luthiers in Central New York...not the same person that I had do the electrical work. Yes, I paid two separate specialists, in their respective areas of stringed instrument work, to complete this project. A killer sounding Les Paul. Comes with original TKL/Epiphone hard case...same brand of case that new Gibsons come with. This is a gorgeous Les Paul in fantastic condition! Please note....the outdoor picture shows the original case that comes with the guitar. This is the same guitar before the new Manlius Landmark pickups were installed and other upgrades performed. I can include the original pickups in any potential deal.
This guitar sounds and plays better than Gibson Les Pauls costing many times more.
I've got about $900.00 total invested in this beautiful instrument. I have too many electric guitars and am thinning the herd. Will consider trade for a quality S&W in nice condition. I can add cash if your gun warrants it. Examples would be pretty much anything that's "pinned and recessed", a nice 4" 586/686, a Model 15 snubby, K-22, etc. Will consider other firearms (long guns, etc.). Thanks.
