this is a 686-4 perf. center 6" light hunter slab side. I have owned this since new. maybe 50 rds fired with it. this is one of a few pc's i will be selling as I am moving out of the usa for retirement. I have only seen 1 of these in the last few years. can anyone tell me more about it? i have owned and sold a couple of these in 41 mag. I would like to sell privately and save all of us money from the gb crowd. its serial number is LMH019x product code 170086. I believe rsr was the distributor.

I'm thinking that is one of the models from Smith during their era of
"Model Of The Month."

Nice Performance Center 686. Per the product code it was a 7 shot 6" barrel made for RSR GB "Hunter".

Neat gun.

It is a shame that you have to sell it, being such an almost never seen gun in that nice of a condition and also with the box. If it were mine, I wouldn't take a penny under $2000, and that is probably on the low side. In my opinion, being a PC model in addition to the dash 4 series, it is a fairly rare gun and I've never seen one for sale. Good luck.
