I have 500 rounds of PMC bronze 55 gr fmj-bt that I paid $6.99 per box/20. What would you ask per box $ towards a trade in 357 magnum ammo ? Also what factory 357 mag ammo would you get 125-158 grain that is good quality brass for reloading ? Some advice is needed...

Trading ammo is something that sounds a bit difficult to accomplish.
You should be able to sell your .223 ammo for what you paid for it as
6.99 a box is a pretty decent price. If you are a handloader .357 mag
factory ammo would seem to be a tremendous waste of your money.
I would suggest that you buy new or once fired brass and the other
components you need to load the kind of ammo you want.

At $6.99/box, I don't think you'd have any trouble selling it outright. As mentioned above, buying the components would allow you to shoot more than buying factory ammo. 357 Mag ammo is still hard to find around my area, but brass/bullets are easy to come by.
