I don't know about you, but I've grown tired of television for the most part and have taken to alternative sources of entertainment. It's been years since I've had cable or satellite television, now everything is streamed without commercials. It's great IMO.

If you are in the same boat, what are your favorite podcasts? I'm sure many of us here share the same interests besides just Smith & Wesson's.

Here are a few of mine:

I have in recent years tried to "unplug" from all electronics. During the Covid Scamdemic I watched podcasts that were circulating among a group of my police and medical friends, but now a days I try to ween myself off the internet. I read a lot.

I listen to them when I'm mowing the lawn or on long business trips in the car.

They have great guests with incredible stories, and you hear/learn about stuff you never heard before. There a great medium.

We Have Ways of Making You Talk is an interesting podcast on WW2 topics. Hosted by two Englishmen, James Holland and Al Murray, a respected author/historian and comedian/amateur historian respectively. More than 600 episodes available. I listen when I'm out doing my daily 5 mile run. (Okay, make that my one hour brisk walk.) It makes the chore of exercise pass quickly and I've learned about a lot of subjects that I previously knew little or nothing about, particularly those associated with the British and Commonwealth war effort. Recommended.

Regards,
Charlie
