Never been one to give a gun away. Just purchased a 1978 Ruger Security Six so I gave my 21 year old son my 1978 S&W Model 10-6. I have a copy of the original shipping invoice (thanks to Michael Helms). It shipped to the Director of Public Security in Amman, Jordan. My son picked up this Jay-Pee belt rig some time back; before I even owned the firearm.

Jay-Pee was very common company to supply leather gear to Police. New York City Police and numerous other agencies purchased Jay-Pee. I was issued a Jay-Pee handcuff case in 1988 with my duty belt. My Agency issued the best equipment money could by as long as it was the cheapest bid.

That looks like plain leather Sam Brown belt and flap holster. There appears to be an HKS speed loader pouch and Motorola swivel for a Handy Talkie leather carrying case. With proper care leather gear can last decades of daily use.
