Back in November of 2013, I managed to finally achieve a small portion of my collecting goals, namely, a set of blued K-Frame M&P 4” revolvers in the most commonly available calibers (.22, .32 S&W L, .32-20, .38S&W, .38 Spl., 9mm, and .357 Magnum) https://smith-wessonforum.com/threads/poor-mans-collection-the-m-p-family.342669/ . Well, of course that started me down a tangent to another deep rabbit hole; acquiring blued 4” Model # K-frame models from 10 to 19. Fast forward almost 12 years, and finally, success! – or as I like to think of it, “Smith and Wesson: From Middle School through High School”. I never thought I’d have the patience or opportunity (or funds) to get there…… Where possible, I tried to go for versions which were produced in lesser quantity. I shudder to think where I’ll go next – I guess maybe my next goal should be blue K-Frame 4” adjustable sight guns to finish that branch ( Model 48’s and 53’s are not inexpensive), but who knows?

You are very right - the Model 11-4 was the last one I needed, and it cost me the most , but it's not complete without it :). Funny thing though, it's not one of the SAP-marked guns that were sold off by S&W at auction. Need to letter it.

Thanks! Here's a pic of the 4" M&Ps from the 2013 post. In a way, I guess I'm very lucky that I'm not a N-Frame fan - I can't even imagine how one can afford to collect those puppies without winning the lottery. I consider the blued 4" guns to be a working man's goal. Besides being a K-Frame fan, I'm lucky that they fall into the more affordable category :) .

Well. There are nickel versions and stainless steel. There are 2" and 6" barrels. There are round and square butt versions.
Knock off the self congratulations, Mister. You're just getting started. Get hot!
