There have been several threads the past few days dealing with .32 Hand Ejectors. I am glad to see there are others who are just now discovering these wonderful "little" revolvers. I have picked up a few over the years, and they are probably my favorite guns to shoot. They just make me smile when I pull the trigger. Not too loud, no noticeable recoil, just pure pleasure.

I never plan on obtaining any more of them, but now and then one catches my eye and I just can't resist.

Here's a few pics of mine. Let's see yours.

My most recent one, 31-1 (with ugly plastic grips).

Group pic top to bottom:
.32 Safety Hammerless - 1908
Model 1903 1st Change - 1906
.32 Regulation Police - 1927
.32 Hand Ejector 3rd Model - 1927
.32 Hand Ejector New I-Frame - 1957
.32 Regulation Police Improved I-Frame - 1953
Model 31-1 J-Frame - ca 1976?

3rd pic is my 16-4, .32 H&R Magnum - 1989.

Yep, love me some .32s...

Charlie, I like them too. But I don't have quite as many.

I have a three inch I Frame .32 HE that I love. They are such classy little things.

Only have three. Two are pre war Regulatio Police. Also have 1955 improved I frame .32 HE 2” RB. All three shoot nice. I have a set of RCBS Cowboy dies for .32 S&W Long, and RCBS mold for a 98 gr RNFP. Brass is a mixed bag of Starline and PPU with a few hundred additional cases from factory ammunition.

A real fun caliber to reload for. Once you are set up the round is just as easy and economical as the .38 Special. W231 has worked best with cast 98 gr WC and Missouri Bullet Co. RNFP 100 gr. Next run will be with my own cast from RCBS mold.

You have a very nice collection of .32s. Next on the wish list is a .32 J frame. A 3” or 4” 31-1 would be nice but so would a Colt DS or Police Positive in .32. But it will be hard to pass up anothern I frame if one comes my way.

I have a 17-3 and a 14-3. But I am always reminded of what is missing when I see a nice K-32 Masterpiece. I guess a nice 16-3 from about 1969 - 72 would nicely fill out the trifecta. But given how scarce they are a nice one from any era will do. I love shooting my I frame guns in this caliber but it must be great to put some nice cloverleaf groups in the middle of a 50 ft indoor pistol target with a K-32.

One of my pre war .32 RPs was made in 1924 like yours. Mine has the shorter barrel.

Good luck with yours and enjoy

These are great little guns. Made a bad decision that seemed alright at the time and now my 16-4 is gone. I at least saved the four inch, but would love a six or eight.

A man can’t be too handsome, be too healthy, have too much money, or have too many 32 revolvers. My personal faves are my post War transitional I frame snub, my custom Project 327 FM K frame, and my homage recreation Model 16-3. The latter 2 are pictured below. The snub is used for my CCW, so it’s… concealed! ;)

I’ve been collecting them for a while now. I found this one at the 2021 SWCA Symposium.

Regards,

That’s a sweetheart! Appears to be a post war Improved I frame - 1st Variation, coil mainspring with the round front sight, but not the barrel rib of the 2nd variation.

I haven’t seen one with the standard thumb piece instead of the flat latch!

I also have a fondness for the .32 calibers. :D

A .32 masterpiece has been on my grail list for many years. But I never could find one I could afford. I finally settled on a 16-4 in .32 H&R.
I have 3" & 4" Model 31-1s that I really enjoy shooting.
The 2" Model 30-1 was my wife's gun. She loved that little gun. :D
