Pork Chops, and Apple Schauce

I remember watching that show, and decided to try it. It was pretty darn good together!
I don't believe my mother ever served pork chops without applesauce in her life.
I grew up on a farm, we raised hogs and had an apple orchard. Need I say more? Always together.

Down South Never had them with apple sauce.

When I was growing up we never had applesauce with pork chops. Never heard of it until later years. Like Pilgrim, we always had fried taters or mashed taters with gravy and maybe some collard greens or poke salad. Good eating.
That sounds like something Sean Connery would have ordered!

Nope. Not a fan. Apples belong in pie. Period.
I can eat pork chops without applesauce, my wife is a different story.

I have been to Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn twice. Absolutely delicious.
Their entree and sides menu is extensive. Their dessert offerings are mind boggling.

Just sent this link to my sister! We lived in Hawaii when these episode aired and we both use the line on each other over the years to evoke laughter.
1976 there used to be hydrofoil service between the islands called SeaFlight. While we were waiting to board to go to Maui, my sister was starstruck when she saw Greg Brady playing backgammon with a hottie in the terminal.
