You can blame Digi-shots for this one. I saw her thread on the other side and went hunting in the closet.
All I came up with was post war 5 screws and some interesting leather taken on trades with guns.

First is a Chiefs special, about 1952, by s.c.s.w. small frame, round triggerguard,5 screws.
A g.b. auction, listed as a mod 36, wearing uncle Mikes, but the screws showed in the pictures.
Stag I frame stocks bought from a friend for a price.

Don't remember where I got the little Mixson holster,,,

Next, an engraved Victory and Service mfg. co. swivel holster.Bothfrom two different sources.

Last is a 5 screw Highway Patrolman 1955, and a suede lined service holster with a small makers mark on the back.

Now how about your post war steel and leather pictures?? Time to dig into the closet.

This is probably not what you had in mind, but here is one I built a few years ago for My nickle $35.00 Double Nine. Sewing those little.22 cartridge loops was a little challenging.

I received this holster with a 1917 vintage 1905 4th change 32-20 and thought about Digi-shot's thread, but the holster is from the 50's, and so is my K-22, which it was made for.

Allen-frame,

Nice guns you have there!

I think I cheated and put this one in the other thread... but here it is again in it's proper post war thread, a 1977 model 10-5 snubbie in vintage carved floral holster:

Post war transitional .38/44 Outdoorsman "snubby" in a Tom Threepersons from El Paso.

Many thanks again to Steve for this very fun revolver!

One of the holsters above is by Mixon of Miami.

I have a Mixon for a Chief's Special that looks very like a Gaylord design.

I called Mixon several years ago, and the girl who answered was not at all forthcoming about the company, a catalog, etc. Was rather rude and dismissive.

Who knows what about Mixon?

Here's two that should have never gotten away. But both are in good hands.

Up first is a Pre Model 21 in 44 Special with a SD Myres Border Patrol style holster.

Next is a Model 45-2 in 22 Long Rifle. Holster is a Heiser lined floral.

I still have the Heiser. I've got another pic of the two Model 45's I have left. A no dash and a dash 2. Still looking for it.

Jerry,

The holster is fairly heavy and looks well made. The only marking is on the back and signed: "BY JETT". I've had it for awhile and recently found the 2" model 10-5 to go in it. Another one of those "buy the holster first and find a gun to go in it"

I felt kinda bad putting in on the ground to take the photo, but I figured heck... if Gizmo can put his on the rocks, the dirt can't hurt it too much.

Mod. 27 2-1/2"/Holster by R.E.(Tex)Wolffarth, Lubbock, Texas. Never heard of the holster maker. Found and bought the holster at a gun show in Ohio, for $15.00. didn't know if it would fit my 2.5" mod 27, but it did, and the 2.5" is hard to fit.
