Read and review the instructions several times, make sure you understand them completely, then proceed slowly. Don't try to deviate from PC's instructions until you understand the process completely.
I use the stones sold by PC, and found they work well, I have not had a need to change.
Obtain one of the inspection fixtures with either fixed or adjustable pin locations, available from Brownells and others, so you can observe the hammer and sear interactions under a magnifying glass or loupe.
I have found using Dykem dye or a black Sharpie pen to coat the trigger and sear working surfaces help in inspecting these surfaces and seeing your progress during the process.
Don't get in a hurry, again take your time, and you will find PC's system works well.
