Patience is a virtue! Been waiting a long time and today I finally made a purchase on my first pre 29.

Very nice vintage revolver! I picked up my 4-screw .44 Magnum (S177963) a few years ago. Although I was looking for an early 5-screw at the time, I couldn't find one that I felt I could afford- but I was very fortunate to find this 4-screw. I paid a fair price, which included a later version mahogany presentation case. My .44 Magnum was shipped in July 1958 according to Doc44. Although I have a few other .44 Magnums (Model 29-2s), this one is definitely my favorite. Enjoy.

My Pre-29 4-screw shipped June 1957. They're a relatively limited run existing between the order to go to 4-screw and the order to go to model numbers. Congrats!
