Pictured is a pre-model 12 Smith and Wesson Airweight believed to have been made in 1953. This one is for the collection rather than for shooting.
This gun was an experiment with weight reduction. The frame and cylinder are aluminum. Many of the ones made with the aluminum cylinder have had the cylinder replaced. This one is all original.
