Posted this last night in the pre war forum. Found out it's a 1955 so reposting it here.

the grips are what sold me on the gun. Dealer had it listed as a pre war 1937. It's a post war 38/44 outdoorsman manufactured in 1955

You want the exact serial for your records, I'd just like to know the approximate one. I've got S99357, but its been horribly scratched up. Then some idiot hammered yards upon yards of silver wire into it to cover he scratches, then still worse, refinished.
