So I have pretty much decided on the Xtreme .357 158 grain plated SWC for my .38/.357 target/plinking loads.
Got great advice here leading me to that bullet after I got tired of cleaning all the lead out of my revolvers.
Now I am trying to decide on 124 grain 9mm and 230 grain .45 bullets. I have been buying the Precision Delta FMJ's for both. After the panic and supply caught up, PD raised their prices. They are now $144 plus shipping for 1000 230 grain .45's.
These bullets are very accurate out of all my .45's but that is getting expensive. The plated bullets can be had for $120 at Xtreme, and $130 at RMR.
Should I stay with Precision Delta as I know the load developed is great in a variety of .45's (S&W 457, 4586, 625, and Springfield Loaded 1911) or switch to one of the plated bullets? Im thinking of switching for the 9mm 124's as well.
