I've reached the point of boredom in my unemployment and looking for things to do. As I have found out looking for a job is a fulltime job. However to keep mental health I've been taking 1 day a week off from the search and doing something totally unrelated.

I'm thinking of taking the GTO out and going up the back way through Wickenburg and Chino Valley to get up to Prescott. Besdies J&G what are the shops to look at up there?

Thanks in advance.

There was a gunshop w/indoor range in Prescott Valley, if still in business, perhaps worth a look...

While you're up there, take a ride through the mountains and have lunch in Jerome.

There's a nice small shop in Wickenburg, and a bigger one in Prescott out of downtown a little bit that has a fair number of guns, knives, and reloading stuff. One in Prescott Valley on the main drag with guns in racks on the floor. Can't recall the names to save my life but Yahoo Yellow Pages will get you there. Eat breakfast at the Twin Wheels in Wickenburg, right by the movie theatre.

Forget the gun shops, just enjoy the ride through the mountains in the Goat.

I go through there in the truck occasionally wishing it was my old Datsun Z instead.

there is another shop in Prescott Valley, name escapes me. Right on the main highway. Good selection last time I was there.

High Noon Indoor Shooting Range and Prescott Valley Guns are good places in Prescott Valley.

High Country and Buckey's are in Prescott.

Take your GTO up to Wickenburg, up Yarnell hill to Prescott then on up to Jerome. The Haunted Hamburger in Jerome has some good food.

Vangs custom shop is a block off the highway in Chino Valley. He doesn't stock a lot of guns but a fascinating place to visit. I always pick up a couple of his custom shotgun parts whenever I visit. He makes a great fat head safety for the Remingtons and a nice magazine extension among many other things.

J&G is located in Prescott and worth the visit. I found two other good Prescott shops by looking in the yellow pages.
