It's not what you think ...!
But my 38CF Single Action First Model Baby Russian :

If anyone has some pearl grips for it, with which he does not know what to do, I pay a good price...

Great looking piece! Wonderful condition. I have a couple of #1 1/2's .32 CF single actions, and I have shot one of them. It's remarkable how accurate these 100 yr. old guns can be.

Howdy

Very nice. I have a 2nd model, but it doesn't look half as good as that. Personally, I like the black grips. If it was mine, I would leave them on it.

.38SA

So that's what mine looked like once! My 2nd model is a little worn about the nickel, but I still like it. Your 1st Model is beautiful!. See mine under show pics break tops thread.
10/22.

Congratulations! Looks like your is a tad better than mine - below:

Congratulations Sir, very nice gun, but one thing makes me shocked:eek: what are the unusual stop notches?????
I have seen few russian babies, but...
thanks for your reply

You're right Perun, the stop notches aren't usual.
Some of this 38SA have "stop notches" without any chamfer and others have some, but when they have some, it's only on the right side and not on both.
Why some have and others do not, I do not know.
On this one, they're original on both side and make the revolving of the cylinder very easy and in the same time the cylinder haven't any play when it's blocked.
It works really perfect.
Why this one has two chamfer, I do not know.

Now you need to get a box with the original tools -:)
