Pro 40 5" conversion to 9mm?

I know a standard 40 - 9mm is a barrel swap.
I found a awesome deal on a 40pro 5" and plan to build it full apex including barrel swap. Just want to make sure it will work.
I currently have a 9 Pro 4.25" and have all the mags and would like to have a pair that will share the same mags and ammo.

The pro uses the exact same slide, the conversion is no problem going from .40 to 9mm.

I just converted my M&P 40 L to 9mm, using a Storm Lake conversion barrel. and 9mm mags. Works great, sights are still regulated to the same POI.
You may want to call Apex about using one of their barrels, when I last talked to them, they said their 5" barrels would not work as a conversion barrel from 40 to 9mm.
I have made a lot of measurements between my Storm Lake conversion barrel and a 9mm Pro barrel, and the only difference I can see is the locking hood of the 9mm barrel is smaller than the 40, about .030" if I remember correctly.
Optics Planet or Ebay have the best prices.

I just purchase a Storm Lake 9mm conversion for my Pro Series for $139. Delivered then a S&W mag for $27. Both on EBay. A good deal in my opinion
