Hey guys, I have three of the 32 round mag's from Pro-Mag and up until a few days ago everything was working great.

One of the three mags (which I have marked) has began to work its self out of the chamber while I'm firing the rifle. It doesn't come all the way out but just enough to cause feeding issues. If I hold the mag with light pressure it feeds and works perfectly but if I'm shooting while holding the fore-grip then again, it begins to work out just a little.

The other two mags are still working perfectly but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what, if anything can be done to fix it.

Thanks in advance!

It's an easy fix. Buddy at LGS helped me out.

This area here is why the magazines won't lock in. You have to cut a small amount of material away. Just take it slow, see if it locks, if not keep cutting.

A sharp knife was used, a box cutter or hobby knife would work just as well.

It was literally a sliver. All 3 magazines had to be modified.

Like I was saying just do it slow, and take it off little by little until they lock in the rifle and can't be pulled out.

I just got done fixing 2 (of 3, the third one was fine) ProMags I got last month. I used an 80 grit "sanding stick". First one I filed a few times, tried again, repeated then it was fine. Second one I gave 25 passes with moderate pressure and then test fit. It is fine as well now. It really doesn't take much at all to get these dialed in.
