A local bank sponsored some of us guys from the PD to shoot in a Rotary Club Sporting Clays tournament. We won first place and got this thing a Sasquatch statue. Solid concrete, takes two of us to lift it. I also get one for shooting the high score. Wife wants it for her garden. I'm still not sure what it's good for.

Someone's wife's cousin made it, and she persuaded her husband to buy them for trophies for the shoot?

There is a local statuary here that makes them. This thing is small compared to some if thief stuff. Life size gorillas, rhinos etc.

Now you need to attach some dot reflectors where the eyes are to scare the trick or treaters! :D

Congrats. At least you were able to take the prize home. Could use it as door stop.

I agree with your wife. Put it in the garden.

Congratulations on the win.

Only bad thing was on the last station I broke my Sears Model 200 12 ga. This is the gun I got from the thrift store my wife runs. Paid 50.00 for it and fixed it for another 50.00. I call it my canoe gun. It had been cut down to 18-1/4" and it was perfect for camp trips. Looks like it'll cost me about 28.00 and some shipping to fix. It worked surprisingly well for sporting clays. Till it broke.

Nice shooting, Jbull380. Yikes! Looking at the 1st place trophy I shudder to think what the 2nd place trophy looked like.

Regards,

Dave

2nd place trophy was just a smaller version of 1st. I should mention the name of the event was the "Sasquatch Shootout" hence the trophies. It was a lot of fun.
