Like everything, the reviews on the Pro Mag Magazines are up and down...Time to check it out myself...

Cabela's, M&P 9mm, 10 on the hook, bought 2...$24.95 +/tax...

They look like my factory Mags...Minus some lettering and a few subtle differences...The plastic base where your palm hits, is smaller on the Pro Mag...

Loaded my S&W factory mag and the Pro Mag, side by side with a Speed loader...The last few bullets on the Pro Mag were a bit tougher to get loaded...Both Magazines were brand new never fired...I am sure some use will smooth this issue out...

There was a little bullet rattle now and then with both mags...Pushing down on the last bullet and a little shake, everything firmed up...No rattle...

The Pro Mag fit the magazine well, nicely...Ejection was good with no drag or hesitation...Manual cycle of the slide, the bullets appeared to move up and load fine...

Both magazines had some side to side movement when fully inserted into gun...I would say the play was even...

I then grabbed the magazine and was a bit rough with it...I read stories from people where the bottom fell off and ammo and spring hit the deck...I banged and twisted the mag and it was solid thru it all...So initial inspection and loading, the mag appears to be a solid piece...
