If' you've had good luck with Promags in a specific gun, then carry on. I would not expect the same results with another gun.
The Promags I bought for my M&P and Ruger Mini 14 were very disappointing. I managed to get a few of the Ruger ones to work with a bit of filing, tweaking and replacement folllowers/springs. By the time I finished I spent almost as much to buy OEM Ruger mags. I have only bought Ruger mags since.
I never could get the Promag M&P mags to cycle properly. On one of them, I had to file the mag catch slot a bit to get it to lock in fully.
Ultimately, there appeared to be differences in the feed lip spacing and angles from my OEM mags. They went into the bin.
Now, to be fair, this was years ago during a time when magazines for certain firearms were in short supply. I have no idea if QC has improved but I am not willing to test it. So Promag is off my list.
