Maybe Beretta just doesn't give a **** about the police market here in the USA as they have been losing departments to either S&W or Glock for the most of the past fifteen years or so. They have the US Military buying their guns, maybe they feel the don't need the police market. Dunno. My buddy got his M&P40 today. He loves the ergos, hates the trigger, but he's been told it'll smooth up with use. He said the problems with the Px4 were caused by the locking lugs. When their guns heated up from extensive firing, the lugs wouldn't engage properly. One of the armorers stoned the lugs and recesses and informed BUSA of their problem and his solution. Finally, after 1 1/2 years, Beretta in Italy contacted them for the fix. Unfortunately, they are in the transition process and S&W is the new gun. Beretta dropped the ball.
