I was wondering if other members have bought AR 15 components and complete upper and lower assemblies from PSA. I just ordered a complete upper with a 16 inch stainless barrel with 1/8 twist rate and with the BCG. I then ordered a Complete Lower with Magul furniture that I plan to mate to that upper when they both arrive.

I have ordered 3 from Palmetto - no problems at all. They shipped in 5 days also.

It's been 4 years or so but I bought a PSA complete upper, mid length with FN hammer forged barrel and built the lower with one of their blem lowers. It's been a great rifle and I'm still looking for the blemish.
A few months later they had their 16" M4 configured carbine on sale for I think $499. My son got the surprise of his life for Christmas. That rifle too has been excellent.

Yes. On the 12th I ordered a PSA complete blem lower classic edition for $139 free shipping.
If there's a blemish on it I can't find it. Fits on my CMMG upper nice and tight. Could not be more pleased.

They have quality AR 15 components and a knowledgable staff. I purchased a mil-spec ar from PSA and it was under $500 for everything (w/o optic). I know a few guys who deal with them as well. A little slow when it comes to shipping but worth the wait. I only had 1 issue. I ordered a BCG and they forgot to install the O ring. I couldn't figure out if it was my newly built AR, the mags or the ammo. When I got it home to clean the BCG I saw it was missing the O ring. Talk about wasted time at the range. Suffice to say I read them the riot act for that dumb blunder.

I have two made up of their blem uppers and lowers. Top notch all the way. The only "blem" I have found was on the last lower I bought -- the grip was a bit loose even with the screw torqued down all the way. So I made up a washer from a piece of an old credit card, and in five minutes the "blemish" was fixed.
First one (freedom lightweight, Andersen lower) was $503, scoped was about $150 more using the "premium" upper and a Spike's lower .

I have built 4 rifles with Anderson lowers and I used one PTAC m-4 and the rest PSA mid length. The first rifle with the PTAC upper came in at $471 complete but the front sight is canted. I put a red dot on it and only use it to send rounds down range, which it does well. The other PSA uppers are perfect, so stick with PSA and stay away from the PTAC.
The PSA Complete stainless steel upper arrived the other day and like many have said you would be hard pressed to find a flaw on it. I can't wait until the complete lower gets here to complete the AR. I have to get sight package which will be a scope for my 72 year old eyes. I'll probably buy a Nikon P223 scope to put on it but I'm just not sure which one. I have two of the Nikon P223 3x9x40mm scopes and I like them a lot but for this one I'm thinking the fixed Nikon P223 3X scope.
It's a tough decision because the Ni8kon P223 3x9x40mm is on sale right now for only $20 more than the fixed 3 power P223 scope.

I bought a NIB 6.8 SPC II PSA upper locally for a great price ($350.00). The deal included the complete BCG, but I needed to add a charging handle. The upper had never been mounted with a lower assembly and even included the factory box. I took a chance and bought a blemished PSA lower receiver on sale from the factory ($139.99 + free shipping). Though a blemished receiver, I'll be darned if I could find any blems or flaws. The FFL I had it shipped to (GT Distributors) said they had received quite a few of these, and they too had never seen any obvious blems or flaws. I got a great package deal on a Vortex Crossfire 2x7 scope (with BDC) and a Burris PEPR mount (if I remember correctly, the scope and mount was $129.00). Thus, I've got a brand new PSA rifle in 6.8 SPC II for under $650.00. After I get it sighted in, I hope to use the piece for hog and deer hunting this fall.
By the way, I figured if the blemished lower was really bad, I would spray paint a camo finish on it. The assembled rifle looks so good that I'm going to leave well enough alone and keep it in its evil black factory finish - unless I get bored between now and deer season.

My PSA Lower shipped so it will be here by the end of next week I will have a Complete AR 15. I also found a Nikon Monarch 2x-7x-40mm scope on my reloading bench that I think will be perfect for this AR and saving me the cost of a new scope.

I have quite a pile of various PSA stuff. I've yet to have a problem. Barrels are accurate, and everything functions as it should.
I've read about problems with them, and if a company does as much business as PSA, there will be problems, but my experience has been 100% positive. Everything I've bought there, I'd buy again.

PSA is 2 hours from my home range. We go over a good bit. I'd say 2 dozen or more here on Sundays, 1,000s of rounds down range. As the young folks say "No Problem". PSA has single handedly killed the need for high end ARs in my area. Several LGS with a stockpile of expensive ARs bought at the height of the gun scare. They are not moving. PSAs like **** through a goose. The FN plant for the military contract guns is in Columbia, S.C., the home of the mother ship for PSA. All the scuttle butt here is that all PSAs are from FN in Columbia. I have been told one of the owners is the son of Congressman Wilson who had the nerve to shout out at an early State of the Union Address that O'Bama was a LIAR. He was right then, he's right now. Not a political statement just background on PSA. Lots of experience with their pistol ars..GREAT!
Today my PSA Magpul Lower came so I put the PSA Freedom Stainless barrel Upper and lower together and mounted a Nikon 2x7x32mm Scope and got it ready to go to the range tomorrow. The gun looks perfect and I couldn't find any blemishes.

Was looking for a picture of my PSA AR and found one with my daughter attached to it. This is about 3 years ago. Had a strikefire on it that worked really well. It now has a Nikon 2x7x32 prostaff that's perfect for the 100 yard shooting I do.
Wasn't some journalist crying how the AR-15 was just punishing to shoot? My daughter is about 15 at this time and she thought it was just so cool the bullet went were you placed the red dot. She'd giggle with about every shot...she scares me sometimes...

My personal experience with PSA is good although limited but I know quite a few that have had excellent results using PSA.
