Pumpkin failure

No it's not Halloween yet. I was upstairs and heard a strange sound coming from below. I had 100 .45acp cases in the tumbler. I go down and discover the motor base dancing wildly on the concrete while the bowl and contents are detached. I gun-tite locktited it back together, the main shaft had unscrewed itself.
Ever had this happen to you?

If the media is sand, perhaps it is putting too much of a load on the tumbler. Sand is certainly a great deal heavier than crushed walnut or other similar media. Don

The bowl , motor and all separated due to just worn out, should have see my surprise when it came bouncing, rolling , growling across the floor.....
