No it's not Halloween yet. I was upstairs and heard a strange sound coming from below. I had 100 .45acp cases in the tumbler. I go down and discover the motor base dancing wildly on the concrete while the bowl and contents are detached. I gun-tite locktited it back together, the main shaft had unscrewed itself.
Ever had this happen to you?

Never, and I've had that model for about 20 years.

What is that media? It looks like kitty litter.

Nice! Real nice!

Hey it was my big excitement for the day.
I bring my misery to my amigos and I'm ridiculed.
The media is a secret. Those are my alzheimers mats, I'm learning my colors again and they're softer than the concrete.:D

CJ, uh, that was in jest and I don't even remember where I got it or who made it. Might have been from Lyman or Dillon. I'm still grappeling with the memory thing.

Blame it on

Bad photography. It is courser than appears but not too far off from Amici's "kitty litter". Dang, now It'll drive me nuts till I remember.

Yeah, I know how you feel. There's a name for that, But I can't remember what it is. Heck, If I didn't have a drivers' license to look at when some one asks me my name, I'd be in real trouble.:(

I thought the media looked like sand.

If the media is sand, perhaps it is putting too much of a load on the tumbler. Sand is certainly a great deal heavier than crushed walnut or other similar media. Don

The bowl , motor and all separated due to just worn out, should have see my surprise when it came bouncing, rolling , growling across the floor.....
